Happy 2023!

Happy 2023 to all music lovers out there! To start off the year, we bring you a new video of Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, which was a part of our 2022 Chamber Music New Zealand tour program. The raw energy and electricity of this piece, amplified by having 4 hands working the piano beyond what a solo pianist could do, was a real wow factor on this tour. Beginning with a mere whisper of a single note, it evolved into a roaring conclusion that captivated the audience around the country. This video was filmed in St. Andrew’s on The Terrace, Wellington in October 2022. Grab a cuppa and get ready for a thrilling musical ride!
